As Executive Director, James Edwartoski is responsible for the comfort, wellbeing and satisfaction of each resident at Vi in Aventura. He oversees every aspect of the community, including the quality of services, amenities, programs and care provided to residents. He and his team have been honored with numerous awards for excellence.

Lou Kass oversees the care center at Vi at Aventura, from the quality of the resident experience and care to communications with family members. He is a member of the multidisciplinary Vi at Aventura care team, which works with each resident and his or her family and physician to develop a plan of care. Lou brings more than 27 years of care leadership experience to Vi. In addition to his Administrator's License, Lou is a Registered Nurse with an extensive background in both clinical and Nurse Administrative experience.

As Director of Accounting, Vladimir Sautier oversees all accounting functions and has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance field, including positions with several Fortune 500 companies. He earned his master of business administration degree from Babson College. He currently serves as a member of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce and as campaign treasurer for a city of Miami Gardens councilman.

Nestor Marchand is responsible for the dining experience at Vi at Aventura, from table reservations and settings to the personalized service each resident receives. Nestor is a certified food and beverage executive, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.

James Williams is responsible for maintenance at Vi at Aventura.

Blanca Bouza oversees the housekeeping function for each resident's home as well as the community areas at Vi at Aventura. She has more than 35 years of experience as a housekeeping executive in the fine hotel industry.

Janet Speranza, RN, is responsible for the quality of care and services provided to residents of assisted living, Alzheimer's and dementia care, and skilled nursing care at Vi at Aventura. As Director of Nursing, Janet works with the Care Center Administrator, the residents' personal physician and the consulting medical director to develop the plan of care for each resident. Janet brings a wealth of health care experience to Vi.

Paula Demello oversees lifestyle programs designed for residents, such as social and community involvement, participatory and spectator events, creative and educational coursework, lecture series, travel clubs, book reviews, fitness classes and more. Paula earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida International University and is currently pursuing her master's degree in gerontology.

Ronit Oliver oversees the human resources function at Vi at Aventura. Ronit has more than 15 years of human resources experience and is both a Certified Professional in Human Resources and a Certified Compensation Professional.

Vivian Lerner assists residents with appropriate levels of care and services and interacts with resident and family members on a regular basis. Vivian earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and her master's certificate in hospitality management from Cornell University.

As Executive Chef, Robert Ibgui oversees the culinary program for Vi at Aventura, including menu creation and food preparation. Robert's culinary expertise was developed in the hotel industry, country clubs and gourmet restaurants. He has received customized training provided by the Culinary Institute of America on nutrition, healthy cooking and baking techniques, flavor dynamics and food and wine pairing. He received his culinary diploma from the prestigious Mederic Culinary School in Paris and is a certified executive chef, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.
