Mark Beggs is responsible for the comfort, well-being and satisfaction of each resident of Vi at Aventura. He oversees every aspect of the community, including the quality of service, amenities, programs and care provided to residents. With over 20 years of experience in the health care industry, Mark has demonstrated his dedication to older adults.
Rodolfo Silva is responsible for operational accounting for Vi at Aventura. He oversees all accounting functions and is responsive to resident accounting requests and questions.
As Executive Chef, Robert Ibgui oversees every aspect of the culinary program for Vi at Aventura, including menu creation and food preparation. Robert's culinary expertise was developed in the hotel industry, country clubs and gourmet restaurants. He has received customized training provided by The Culinary Institute of America on nutrition, healthy cooking and baking techniques, flavor dynamics and food and wine pairing. He received his culinary diploma from the prestigious Mederic Culinary School in Paris and is a certified executive chef, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.
Nestor Marchand is responsible for every aspect of the dining experience at Vi at Aventura, from table reservations and settings to the personalized service each resident receives. Nestor is a certified food and beverage executive, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.
James Williams is responsible for maintaining every aspect of the setting at Vi at Aventura. With more than 10 years serving this community, James is dedicated to maintaining this richly designed environment.
Blanca Bouza oversees the housekeeping function for each resident's home as well as the community areas at Vi at Aventura. She has more than 35 years of experience as a housekeeping executive in the fine hotel industry.
Marlene Johnson, RN, is responsible for the quality of care and services provided to residents of assisted living, Alzheimer's and dementia care, and skilled nursing care at Vi at Aventura. As Director of Nursing, Marlene works with the Care Center Administrator, the resident's personal physician and the consulting medical director to develop the plan of care for each resident.
Paula Demello oversees lifestyle programs designed for residents, such as social and community involvement, participatory and spectator events, creative and educational coursework, lecture series, travel clubs, book reviews, fitness classes and more. In this role, Paula creates and implements lifestyle-enriching programs that contribute to each resident's whole-person wellness. Paula earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida International University and is currently pursuing her master's degree in gerontology.
Vivian Lerner assists residents with appropriate levels of care and services and interacts with resident and family members on a regular basis. She promotes a healthy, enriching environment at Vi.
Ellen Palmer promotes the benefits of senior living at Vi at Aventura to older adults and their family and friends. Ellen manages the sales team and represents Vi to the larger community. She also serves as a resource to community organizations on the topics of senior living and continuing care. Ellen has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising and has been honored with numerous sales awards throughout her career.
