PAYMENT FOR CARE, IF
NEEDED
|
- Residents of independent living who develop a need for care pay
for on-site assisted living, personal care or Alzheimer's care out
of pocket on a monthly fee basis.

- Under a Vi Type A continuing care contract, a qualified
resident who moves to the on-site care center continues to pay the
same monthly fee charged for his or her independent living home,
plus charges for extra meals and ancillary items. The qualified
resident typically pays less for care center services than he or
she would without a continuing care contract. Care at these rates
is available for an unlimited period for approved individuals.

AGREEMENT
|

- Continuing care agreement, which the resident or the community
may terminate according to its terms. The returnable portion of the
entrance fee specified is payable according to the agreement's
terms.
- To qualify for continuing care, prospective residents must meet
certain physical and financial health standards.

Head Island, South Carolina, is a member-owned continuing care
community that features fee-simple real estate and on-site assisted
living, skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services available
on a pay-as-you-go basis.
