At Vi, we believe in giving residents the support they need so they can enjoy life to its fullest and remain active, vital members of our community.
Our on-campus care center offers a residential setting with the reassurance of care that you won't find at home. Our care center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by licensed nurses and other dedicated caregivers. We provide assisted living, care for mild to moderate Alzheimer's or related cognitive conditions, and basic skilled nursing care. Every level of care is intended to respect residents' privacy and promote personal dignity.
Here, the vibrant surroundings, engaged social network, and broad range of specialized services are all offered with the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents in mind. Situated adjacent to the open spaces of Highlands Ranch, residents enjoy wildlife, beautiful mountain views, and an expansive hillside of native grasses with seasonal creekside waterfowl.
The care center team includes our medical director, our care center administrator, our director of nursing, and our staff social worker. We offer ongoing training and support for our care center staff to deliver care designed to meet the needs of our residents and the expectations of their families.
We also partner with medical specialists - including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, dentists, psychologists, and psychiatrists - to provide onsite services for our residents.
Therapy services are offered onsite seven days a week, for Care Center residents as well as residents of Independent Living.
Caring for residents as they age is a team effort, one that involves our nursing staff, trained caregivers, our service team, and family members and other loved ones. Our staff schedules routine care conferences with family members and a resident's care team. We welcome families to join activities at the care center.
Families also benefit from our onsite support group that guides families in coping with changes for their loved one while in the care setting.
Care center residents participate in programming designed to stimulate intellectual and creative expression and physical activity. Our care center activities coordinator, working closely with other staff, oversees outings, events, and activities that seek to maximize independence while keeping the ability of each resident in mind.
