At TidePointe, a Vi community, residents pay a one-time real estate purchase price, a membership fee, and a recurring monthly service fee. Home purchase prices are, like most real estate transactions, negotiable. Membership and monthly fees vary based on the floor plan of your home. Monthly service fee increases are determined at the beginning of each year. Our sales team can provide you with a history of monthly fee increases.
If you move to Vi with your spouse, they will also pay a smaller membership fee and monthly service fee. These fees are to cover incremental services like activities and dining.
TidePointe is a Type C (also called a fee-for-service) continuing care retirement community (CCRC), which means you pay for care as you need it, not as part of an entrance fee when you join the community. Your membership at TidePointe gives you priority access to the Broad Creek Care Center on the TidePointe campus should you require care, but it does not cover the cost of care. The monthly or daily fee for residents while residing in the care center is the market rate for care.
