Thomas Jones is responsible for the comfort, well-being and satisfaction of each resident of TidePointe. He oversees every aspect of the community, including the quality of service, amenities, programs and care provided to residents. Thom has more than 29 years of experience in hospitality, the majority in senior living.
Stephani Johnson oversees every aspect of the Broad Creek Care Center, from the quality of the resident experience and care to communications with family members. She is a member of the multidisciplinary Broad Creek care team, which works with each resident and his or her family and physician to develop a plan of care. Stephani has more than 20 years of experience in health care administration. She is a licensed nursing home administrator in North and South Carolina and California. She is also licensed residential home administrator in South Carolina and California.
Sandra Gilliam is responsible for operational accounting for TidePointe, a Vi Community. She oversees all accounting functions and is responsive to resident accounting requests and questions. Sandra has more than 21 years of accounting experience in the health care and senior living fields.
As Executive Chef, Stephen Stewart oversees every aspect of the culinary program for TidePointe, including menu creation and food preparation. He has more than 25 years of culinary expertise and is a certified executive chef, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional. He has received customized training provided by The Culinary Institute of America on nutrition, healthy cooking and baking techniques, flavor dynamics and food and wine pairing. Stephen is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
Kevin Meredith is responsible for every aspect of the dining experience at TidePointe, from table reservations and settings to the personalized service each resident receives. Kevin has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 12 years in senior living. He is a certified food and beverage executive, certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.
David Chidboy is responsible for maintaining every aspect of the setting at TidePointe. With more than 16 years at Vi, David is dedicated to our residents.
Rex Goethe oversees the housekeeping function for each resident's home as well as the community areas at TidePointe. Rex is a member of the International Executive Housekeepers Association and the Cleaning Management Institute. His extensive background in housekeeping management contributes to the resident experience at Vi.
Marlowe Williams enhances both resident and employee satisfaction through oversight and management of the human resources function at TidePointe. She recruits and develops top employees who have a passion for working with older adults. Marlowe is a past president of the local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She earned her master of arts degree in human resources development from Webster University.
As Director of Member Services, Maryanne Kirkpatrick creates and implements lifestyle-enriching programs that contribute to each resident's whole-person wellness. Maryanne also assists residents with appropriate levels of care and services and interacts with resident and family members on a regular basis.
Kendell Brinkman, RN-C, BS, OCN, is responsible for the quality of care and services provided to residents of the Broad Creek Care Center. As Director of Nursing, Kendell works with the Care Center Administrator, the resident's personal physician and the consulting medical director to develop the plan of care for each resident. Kendell's experience includes more than 30 years as a registered nurse in a broad variety of health care settings.
As Sales Director, Dene Wilmot promotes the benefits of senior living at TidePointe to older adults and their family and friends. Dene manages the sales team and represents TidePointe to the larger community. She also serves as a resource to community organizations on the topics of senior living and continuing care. She and her team have been honored with numerous awards for sales excellence.
