The cost of moving to Vi at La Jolla Village incorporates two components: an entrance fee and an ongoing monthly fee. Here, we help you better understand what these fees encompass, and how to determine which home is right for you.

The Cost of Living at Vi

Entrance Fee

Vi at La Jolla Village is a Type A continuing care retirement community (Wondering what this means - click here). An upfront entrance fee for residence is offered in three different options to help be more flexible for you, your personal, financial and estate planning goals. Currently, Vi at La Jolla Village offers a 80% repayable, 40% repayable, and a 0% refundable entrance fee plan.

Monthly Fee

At Vi, your entrance fee and monthly fee pay for your apartment home, as well as access to our onsite continuum of care. Our care center includes assisted living, memory support, and skilling nursing apartments. At Vi, when  residents move to the on-site care center they continue to pay the same monthly fee charged for their independent living residence, plus additional charges for extra meals and ancillary items. Your monthly fee is tied to the floor plan you choose, and this amount is outlined in the next section. At Vi, your monthly fees include the following (among other things):

  • Top-notch dining facilities and meal preparations from our culinary team
  • Lifestyle, fitness, and wellness activities
  • Scheduled maintenance and repairs of your home
  • Weekly housekeeping
  • 24-hour valet parking services in our garage
