Penny Smith is responsible for the comfort, wellbeing and
satisfaction of each resident of Vi at Lakeside Village. She
oversees every aspect of the community, including the quality of
service, amenities, programs and care provided to residents. Penny
and her team have been recognized numerous times for their
commitment to Vi residents.
Craig Koff oversees the care center at Vi at Lakeside Village,
from the quality of the resident experience and care to
communications with family members. He is a member of the
multidisciplinary Vi at Lakeside Village care team, which works
with each resident and his or her family and physician to develop a
plan of care. Craig brings more than 25 years of care leadership
experience to Vi. He earned his master's degree in gerontology at
the University of South Florida.
As Sales Director, Barbara Kelley manages the sales team and
represents Vi to the larger community. She also serves as a
resource to community organizations on the topics of older adult
living and assisted living. A true sales leader with Vi, Barbara
has been recognized for her sales excellence.
Iria Siegel is responsible for operational accounting for Vi at
As Executive Chef, Anthony Santomauro oversees the culinary
program for Vi at Lakeside Village, including menu creation and
food preparation. Anthony's culinary expertise includes extensive
experience with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. He has received
customized training provided by the Culinary Institute of America
on nutrition, healthy cooking and baking techniques, flavor
dynamics and food and wine pairing. Anthony received his education
at the Academy of Culinary Arts in New Jersey and holds a
bachelor's degree in culinary arts. He is a certified executive
chef, certified dietary manager and certified food protection
Henrik Jespersen is responsible for the dining experience at Vi
at Lakeside Village, from table reservations and settings to the
personalized service each resident receives. Henrik joined Vi with
more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a
background in hospitality management and wine technology. He is a
certified food and beverage executive, certified dietary manager
and certified food protection professional.
Janet Carstens, CHHE, oversees the housekeeping function for
each resident's home as well as the community areas at Vi at
Lakeside Village. Her extensive background includes 25 years at
country clubs, hospitals, hotels and senior living communities.
Tracy Vaughan, CEOE, is responsible for maintenance at Vi at
Davina oversees the Human Resources department at Vi at Lakeside
Village. Her expertise lies in full cycle recruiting, HR systems,
and strategic planning. Davina brings a drive for high quality
customer service through a focus on recruiting and retention of top
talent and enhancement of employee satisfaction. She has a
Bachelor's degree in Business and Mass Communication from Arizona
State University and an HR Management certificate, plus she is a
member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
Tamara Sawicz oversees the lifestyle programs designed for
residents such as community involvement, lecture series, travel
clubs, book reviews, fitness classes, and much more. Before joining
Vi at Lakeside Village, Tamara managed special events, worked in
radio and also did on-camera work as a local anchor in several
markets. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the
University of Nebraska.
Sandra Finnegan, RN, is responsible for the quality of care and
services provided to residents of assisted living, Alzheimer's and
dementia care, and skilled nursing care at Vi at Lakeside Village.
As Director of Nursing, Sandra works with the Care Center
Administrator, the resident's personal physician and the consulting
medical director to develop the plan of care for each resident.
Lorraine Luciani assists residents with appropriate levels of
care and services and interacts with resident and family members on
a regular basis.
As Community Relations Manager at Vi at Lakeside Village,
Rebecca Waldorf is responsible for promoting the community
through public relations, community outreach, event coordination
and professional resource development. Rebecca has more than 20
years of experience in healthcare marketing, public relations and
business development. She has been honored with national media
awards for advertising campaigns and documentary productions. In
2013, Rebecca was voted "Corporate Business Women of the Year" by
the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce.
