We understand that becoming a resident at a Vi community, or any continuing care retirement community (CCRC), is probably an unfamiliar process. Even if you have helped a parent or friend move to a senior residence in the past, you might find that moving to Vi is quite different.
When you visit Vi, you'll have a chance to tour our campus -- including community areas, our care center, and model residences -- meet members of our staff, and see first-hand the many amenities we offer. You may even spend time with residents, who can tell you about their own experiences at Vi.

When you have decided to become a resident at a Vi community, the next step is to join the Ambassador's Club Wait list and select the size of apartment you would like to reside in at Vi.
After you have selected the size of apartment you would like to reside in one day we will ask you to submit an application that includes health and financial information as your name moves toward the top of the Ambassador Club Wait List. Your primary physician will also need to complete a medical certification form.
Once you have submitted your application, we will invite you back to Vi to meet with the Resident Evaluation Committee.
Once we accept your application, you'll meet with a member of Vi's move-in team. You'll choose possible modifications, and plan a home visit with a design specialist who will create a custom floor plan for your furnishings. We can refer you to other specialists for help getting organized for your move.
Many Vi residents pay their entrance fee with the proceeds from selling their home. If you own your current residence, we can help you sell your home and coordinate the move. Learn more about our Home Sale Program
The final step before you move to Vi is to return to Vi to complete the financial transaction for your new home. At this meeting, you will pay the entire entrance fee for the community and sign a residency agreement.
From the day you move in to Vi, we work to make you feel at home. During your move, our staff will be on hand and will plan special activities designed to welcome you and introduce you to new friends and new interests.
