The 22-acre property is bounded on the north by San Francisquito Creek, on the east by the Ronald McDonald House and on the west by the Children's Health Council.

• U.S. 101
• Exit 101 on University Avenue toward Stanford/Palo Alto (west).
• University Avenue crosses El Camino, then becomes Palm Drive.
• Turn right on Arboretum.
• The Vi entrance is located where Arboretum ends at Sand Hill Road.

From the South

• U.S. 101
• Exit 101 on University Avenue toward Stanford/Palo Alto (west).
• University Avenue crosses El Camino, then becomes Palm Drive.
• Turn right on Arboretum.
• The Vi entrance is located where Arboretum ends at Sand Hill Road.

From Interstate 280

• Exit Sand Hill Road toward Stanford/Palo Alto.
• Follow Sand Hill Road to Arboretum.
• At the intersection of Sand Hill and Arboretum, turn left to enter Vi.
