Amy Mataro is responsible for the comfort, well-being and
satisfaction of each resident of Vi at Grayhawk. She oversees every
aspect of the community, including the quality of service,
amenities, programs and care provided to residents. Prior to
joining Vi in 1992, Amy gained her expertise in the hospitality
industry at Hyatt Hotels. An assisted living administrator, Amy
completed a master's certificate program in gerontology from
Florida International University and earned her bachelor of science
degree in restaurant, hotel and institutional management from
As Care Center Administrator, Michelle is responsible for
overseeing the Care Center operations which include skilled
nursing, assisted living, Alzheimer's and dementia care.
Michelle has more than 20 years of experience in the senior
services field as a Social Worker, Nursing Home Administrator and
Executive Director. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and
Sociology from Adams State College and a Master's in Social Work
from New Mexico State University. She is a member of the Board of
Directors for the Arizona Health Care Association and is a
Certified Nursing Home Administrator through the American College
of Health Care Administrators.
As Sales Director, Jan Wiggins manages the sales team and
represents Vi to the larger community. She also serves as a
resource to community organizations on the topics of senior living
and continuing care.
René Bracamonte oversees lifestyle programs designed for
residents such as fitness and art classes, theatre and sports
outings, guest lecturers and much more. Prior to joining Vi at
Grayhawk, René managed special events for a number of organizations
including the PGA, NFL and the Arizona State University Athletics
Robert Davis, CEOE, is responsible for maintenance at Vi at
Monique Walker, CHHE, oversees the housekeeping function for
each resident's home as well as the community areas at Vi at
Grayhawk. She has an extensive background in housekeeping
management in the hotel and hospitality industry.
Jennifer Prickett is responsible for care and services
provided to residents of assisted living, Alzheimer's and dementia
care, and skilled nursing care at Vi at Grayhawk. As Director of
Nursing, Jennifer works with the Care Center Administrator, the
resident's personal physician and the consulting medical director
to develop the plan of care for each resident. Jennifer has
a master's Degree in Administration with Leadership Emphasis
and a bachelors degree in Family Studies from University of
Arizona. She also has an Associate Degree in Nursing from Phoenix
Amy Ferrari assists residents with appropriate levels of care
and services and interacts with resident and family members on a
regular basis. Amy holds a bachelors degree in Social Work from
Bradley University and a Masters Degree in Public Health -
Healthcare Administration from Benedictine University.
As Executive Chef, Vince De Mar oversees the culinary program
for Vi at Grayhawk, including menu creation and food preparation. A
certified dietary manager, Vince earned his degree in the Culinary
Arts from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute.
Michael Latko oversees the human resources function at Vi at
Grayhawk. He has more than 25 years of human resources experience
and has worked with such organizations as the Department of Navy at
the Pentagon. Michael is also a graduate of Indiana University of
Pennsylvania and State University of New York at Brockport.
Michelle Showalter is responsible for the accounting and
reporting of operations for Vi at Grayhawk. She is a CPA with
a diverse background including 25 years of experience in public
accounting, as well various industries, including healthcare.
She completed her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Grand
Canyon University in Phoenix.
