About Vi
Years of Service
In 2012, Vi celebrated its 25th anniversary as
a developer, owner, and operator of residential communities for
older adults. Today the Vi family of communities consists of 10
continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) across the United
States, with corporate leadership committed to providing quality
environments, services and programs to enrich the lives of older
adults.
"We are extremely proud of the accomplishments we have achieved
during the past 25 years," said Randy Richardson, President of Vi.
"Our employees and residents can take pride in the fact that we are
a stable, national presence within the senior living industry."
FINANCIAL STABILITY
In addition to our more than 25 years of service, at Vi we have
a track record of sound financial management. In 2011, we paid off
the final construction loan on our newest community, Vi at
Silverstone, making all Vi CCRCs free of third party
debt.

Fine Dining
Vi communities provide a world-class dining experience that
supports proper nutrition through delicious and healthful cuisine.
Meals are served in well-appointed, restaurant-style venues. The
company's culinary program is driven by executive chefs who receive
customized training at The
Culinary Institute of America (CIA) on nutrition, healthy
cooking and baking techniques, flavor dynamics, and food and wine
pairing.
Wellness
Vi is committed to each resident's whole-person wellness, which
includes extensive physical, social, and intellectual programming
in an environment that provides rich opportunities for residents to
positively impact their wellness and successful aging.
Resident Satisfaction
The company's main priority at all times is the wellbeing of our
residents. Because resident satisfaction is a key measure of our
success, Vi actively researches and listens to the evolving needs
of residents and prospective residents.
Vi recently received its highest resident satisfaction scores to
date. In a 2012 survey, CCRC residents responding to the survey
gave Vi an overall satisfaction score of 93.3%. In addition, nine
out of 10 CCRC residents who responded to the survey say they would
recommend their Vi community to family or friends - and eight out
of 10 already have.
According to Bill Sciortino, Senior Vice President of
Operations, this level of satisfaction is reflective of Vi's
commitment to excellence.
"The leadership in our communities is some of the most
experienced in the industry," Sciortino said.
Feedback is also received through surveys, resident committees,
town hall meetings, focus groups, and the "open door" policy of our
executive directors at the community level.
Our Employees
The success of the company is attributable to its experienced,
innovative leadership at the local and national levels. For
more than 25 years, our resident-centered
approach to active living for older adults and commitment to
providing quality environments, services, amenities, and care means
that we recruit the industry's best talent. Vi employees have a
desire to serve older adults and are dedicated to our core values
of integrity, compassion, and excellence.
