Classic Residence by Hyatt in Highlands Ranch Wins "Best Place to Work" Award
Highlands Ranch, CO -
August 23, 2009
Classic Residence by Hyatt, the leading provider of retirement
living for older adults, announces its Highlands Ranch community
was recently awarded one of the top five "2009 Best Companies to
Work for in Colorado" in the category of medium-sized companies
(100-250 employees). This comes just after the community celebrated
its first year of operation.
The first anniversary was marked by a special surf and turf
dinner for the residents including filet and lobster prepared by
Executive Chef Greg Strickland. An appreciation party was also
thrown for employees complete with a tropical theme, trivia games,
and prizes.
"I couldn't be prouder of our employees. They clearly
demonstrate a passion for serving older adults that has been the
foundation of our company for more than 20 years," said Deann
Daniel, executive director, Classic Residence by Hyatt in Highlands
Ranch.

The Best Companies to Work for in Colorado awards were primarily
sponsored by Colorado Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)
State Council, in conjunction with the six local SHRM state
chapters: Boulder Area Human Resource Association (BAHRA),
Colorado Human Resource Association (CHRA), Colorado Springs
Society of Human Resource Management (CSSHRM), High Country Human
Resource Association (HCHRA), Northern Colorado Human Resource
Association (NCHRA) and Western Colorado Human Resource Association
(WCHRA). The anonymous surveys focused on 10 criteria of a
satisfying working environment, including team effectiveness, trust
with co-workers, manager effectiveness, feeling valued, and people
practices, among others.
Classic Residence by Hyatt in Highlands Ranch joins three other
Classic Residence by Hyatt communities that recently won "Best
Place to Work" awards. Communities in Hollywood, Florida, Reno,
Nevada, and Scottsdale, Arizona, were all named one of the "Best
Places to Work" in their respective locations earlier this
year.
