Skilled nursing care is available at our Vi branded continuing
care communities. As a Vi resident, you have the added comfort of
knowing that short-term restorative care or long-term nursing care
is located right here in your own community. Not only are you close
to friends and family, you're in a supportive environment with a
care team that's engaged in your healing process. Your
multidisciplinary care team consists of a medical director,
director of nursing, licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants,
social workers, nutrition managers and lifestyle managers.
The skilled nursing program includes:
- Initial assessment and an interdisciplinary care plan with
periodic updates
- Basic skilled nursing care services based on the care plan for
each resident
- Social services and case management
- Medical orders and treatment plans carried out by licensed or
certified staff
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Reminders about activities
Services available for an additional fee* include:
- Physical, speech and occupational therapy
- Ancillary medical supplies and services
- Pharmaceutical services
- Personal companion services
- Personal laundry service
Activities Designed to Help Promote the Healing Process
As a resident at the care center, you can participate in a
special activities program focusing on intellectual and creative
expression, and physical activities, all of which are under the
direction of an activities coordinator.

Set amidst a vibrant Vi continuing care community, your room at
the care center is designed to feel like home, plus you can add
personal touches and furnishings. You'll also have access to a
wonderful dining room, activity room and cozy visiting spaces where
you can connect with friends and family.
Private and semiprivate care suites include:
- Basic cable television
- Daily light housekeeping, including bed making
- Individual climate control
- Laundering of towels and bed linens as needed
- Baths featuring easy-access showers with assist bars
- Staff response system
- Telephone with local service
- Therapeutic diets accommodated by a nutrition services manager
under the supervision of a registered dietitian
- Three delicious meals prepared each day under the supervision
of classically trained executive chefs
