A Statement on COVID-19 from Vi

Updated: March 17, 2021

Vaccine distribution

Since the coronavirus pandemic began in early 2020, Vi at Silverstone has been committed to the health and well-being of its residents and employees during this tumultuous time and has taken proactive measures to prevent, detect, and minimize the spread of COVID-19 every step of the way.

We are happy to announce that we have now hosted vaccine clinics offering both first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for residents and staff at Vi at Silverstone.

The well-being of our residents is always our top priority, and we’re taking steps toward brighter days — as one community.

Reopening the community

Vi at Silverstone continues to implement a cautious, multi-phase strategy to reintroduce activities and services in adherence with state and local health agency guidelines.

This strategy provides a framework for gradually modifying our COVID-19 protocols in Independent Living, with Care Centers following a separate plan. While we continue to focus on detection and prevention of the coronavirus, our goal is to methodically reopen our community’s services, activities and common spaces in phases once the established criteria are met.

The cooperation and spirit of Vi at Silverstone residents and staff throughout the pandemic have been unparalleled.

We continue to offer myriad virtual resources to bolster the mind, body and spirit of our residents and help keep them active, engaged and connected. Those resources have included TED Talks, The Great Courses, virtual museum tours, daily balcony waves, fitness classes, cooking classes, online puzzles and other “stir-crazy” activities.

Our sales team is currently offering virtual tours and events for prospects, and reinitiating tours is also addressed in our reopening strategy. Please contact us to learn more.
