Over the past decade, Vi at Silverstone has served more than 570 seniors and has continued to evolve as demand for the Vi lifestyle has grown. The community’s focus on promoting the health, wellness and longevity of its residents and offering a complete on-site continuum of care has made Vi at Silverstone one of the premier senior living destinations in Arizona, as residents enjoy their community of elegant homes, engaging activities and exceptional care.

With the onset of the pandemic and the shelter in place mandates, Vi at Silverstone quickly pivoted to offer virtual opportunities for community, physical fitness and spiritual and emotional wellness, such as happy hours, cooking classes, fitness classes and more. Vi at Silverstone’s beloved resident choir, The Vi Tones, was even able to continue rehearsing through Zoom. To safely commemorate the 10th anniversary while abiding by CDC health and safety guidelines, the Vi at Silverstone team delivered gift bags to each residence on celebration day, containing champagne, a Vi at Silverstone commemorative calendar and a Vi at Silverstone signature mask. A five-course celebration dinner delivered to each door featured beef Wellington and crab-stuffed lobster tail. In lieu of the community’s tradition of a celebratory group receiving line at dinner for special occasions, this year’s virtual celebration featured videos of staff sending anniversary wishes to residents, and a concert by the group “We 3” aired on the community’s cable channel. Executive Director Jill Wolverton recorded a toast for residents, allowing them to raise their glass to Vi at Silverstone safely from the comfort of their homes.
