Since the coronavirus pandemic began in early 2020, Vi at Aventura has been committed to the health and well-being of its residents and employees—and this commitment continues today.
Effective August 1, 2021, Vi will require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. For more details about this policy, please contact the Executive Director.
The vaccination mandate does not apply to Vi residents or their personal visitors and guests. Since we began offering on-site vaccine clinics for residents in December 2020, however, an overwhelming majority of residents have chosen to be vaccinated. We’re grateful to Vi residents for choosing to “do their part” throughout the pandemic.
According to the CDC, vaccination against COVID-19, together with following COVID-19 safety precautions, is the most effective way to protect individuals against COVID-19 infection and prevent further COVID-19 transmission to others. Visit the CDC website to learn more.
Reopening the community
Vi at Aventura is implementing a phased reopening strategy that reintroduces activities, dining, and services. We continue to follow guidance from local/state health authorities and the CDC about masking, social distancing and other COVID-related precautions.
We are dedicated to keeping residents abreast of any community updates that might affect them. Regular communications are sent to our residents via letters, updates to our in-house message systems, and other channels.
Visitors are being welcomed to the community. If visiting a loved one, we recommend you contact them for the latest information on this policy.
Vi sales teams are reinitiating in-person tours and events in adherence with the guidelines in our reopening strategy. Many also continue to offer tours and events virtually for prospects. Please contact us to learn more.
