Naples, Fla. (August 31, 2021) – Vi at Bentley Village is pleased to announce that the community’s Skilled Nursing Facility (Bentley Care Center) has received a deficiency-free state survey.
The Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration performs annual inspections of all skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in the state. The thorough reviews are conducted by state inspectors and designed to evaluate all aspects of care and safety. The deficiency-free rating indicates a perfect score, meaning there were no issues or shortcomings identified in the facility during the assessment.
“The deficiency-free survey in our care center is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff. This past year has presented additional challenges, but our team members have not wavered in their loyalty and dependability,” said Penny Smith, Executive Director at Vi at Bentley Village. “Our team of administrators, nurses, and support staff are committed to serving our care center residents each day.”
The Bentley Care Center is also five-star rated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This rating is based on criteria determined by the CMS five-star rating system, which assesses all skilled nursing facilities against four indicator categories.
According to Bentley Care Center Administrator Michele Bain, “This recognition gives our staff a boost of confidence after a tough year. This achievement highlights how their efforts help us meet and exceed industry standards for skilled nursing care.”
