- Bentley Village's golf course was designed by noted golf course architect Gordon G. Lewis, designer of more than 170 courses, and was recently enhanced to bring more water into play, especially on the back nine.
- The course has an efficient layout for faster play: you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast and still get in 18 holes before lunch!
- Enjoy no annual fees, no trail fees and no cart fees when using your own cart. In the off-season (May-October), take advantage of our reciprocal agreements with 30 other local clubs.
- Competitive players can join our men’s and women’s golf association.
- Our golf pro is available for lessons, whether you’re a novice or seeking to fine-tune your game.
Vi at Bentley Village has its own golf pro, PGA Professional Stan Geer, who has been with Vi at Bentley Village since 2013.
A 25-year Class A member of the PGA of America, Geer manages the community’s course, provides instructional clinics and lessons, and coordinates more than 200 resident tournaments annually, including scrambles, men’s and ladies’ member guest tournaments and club championships.
Geer has appeared in numerous magazine and newspaper articles as well as television interviews to promote the community’s golf program. In 2023, he won first place in the E-Z-GO South Florida Open, Senior Division. He also qualified for the South Florida Senior PGA Challenge Cup team in 2021 and 2025.
Golf Pro Scores Tournament Win
During the two-day event held at two golf courses in Naples, Geer made eight birdies. He secured the tournament win by three strokes with a six-under-par score of 138.
Golf is a Game for Life
A 90-year-old resident-golfer is still playing on the community's 18-hole par-3 course and inspiring residents and staff alike with his skill and dedication.
Without a practice range, giving lessons used to be a challenge for Stan Geer. That all changed when a $55 million expansion included the addition of a state-of-the-art golf studio with two simulators.
