Vi President and CEO Randy Richardson has signed on to the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™ commitment. Recognizing that change starts at the executive level, Richardson joins over 1,600 CEOs of the world’s leading companies and business organizations in leveraging their individual and collective voices to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Today, even amidst the new normal of the protocols established due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Vi team members are finding creative ways to care for the physical, mental and spiritual health of their communities.

As the ramifications of the coronavirus continue to play out globally, it is clear that the hospitality industry has been drastically impacted as hotels close down operations, marking economic uncertainty for the millions of Americans working in the hospitality space. Vi is among other leading companies, such as Amazon, CVS, Walgreens and more, to open doors to new opportunities for American workers, connecting them with jobs at Vi communities across the country.

Vi has won the 2019 ICAA NuStep Beacon Award, honoring the top 25 “Best in Wellness” senior living communities in North America. Vi is dedicated to providing the utmost quality of life to residents, and that starts with encouraging a holistic approach to health and wellbeing through our Living Well program.

When Adrian Nunez Felix, a longtime employee of Vi at Grayhawk, stepped on a stage to take part in the white coat ceremony that officially christened him as a student at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) School of Medicine, that moment was due, in part, to scholarship assistance he’s received from the Grayhawk Classic Residents’ Foundation, a 13-year-old nonprofit that awards scholarships to Vi at Grayhawk employees and their dependent children.

For Vi at Grayhawk resident Jane McGrath, EdD, education has been a lifelong passion. After a 35-year career teaching reading, study skills and critical thinking in community colleges throughout Maricopa County, Dr. McGrath feels fortunate to continue her commitment to student development as the board president of the Grayhawk Classic Residents’ Foundation. Established in 2003, the foundation has awarded scholarships to Vi at Grayhawk employees and their dependents interested in pursuing higher education.
