About Vi at Grayhawk

Vi at Grayhawk is a CCRC, short for Continuing Care Retirement Community (also known as a Life Plan Community). We offer residents a comprehensive approach to senior living, serving up a robust retirement lifestyle that integrates whole-person wellness, social independence, and access to a continuum of care — all onsite.

CCRCs like ours are ideal for seniors ready to keep enjoying their retirement but also want a plan in place for care, if they need it later.

As an Inclusive (Type A) CCRC, residents’ monthly costs are predictable if they need to transition from independent living to assisted living or another level of care. And because long-term care services are offered onsite, residents know who will provide their care, and that they’ll be comfortable in their surroundings, regardless of their care needs.

Benefits of Vi at Grayhawk

We’ve held the top spot on Ranking Arizona’s “best of senior living” list for more than 20 years, but we care a lot more about why our residents love living here.

Neighbors worth getting to know

Vi at Grayhawk residents are on a first-name basis with one another. And regular “block parties” help new residents feel right at home in the neighborhood.

Community within a community

We’re nestled within Scottsdale’s Grayhawk master-planned community, built to offer everything residents need. We offer plenty of what they want, too, with on-campus amenities like an aquatic center and an 18-hole putting course.

Our process

Everyone's process is a little bit different, but here's an idea of what to expect along the way.
If you have questions, we have answers.

Vi at Grayhawk's pricing model

Entrance fees

At Vi, residents pay a one-time entrance fee when they move into the community, based on the floor plan and return option chosen. This fee ensures access to higher levels of care with little to no increase in monthly fees.

Return options

Return options give the resident or their estate back a portion of their entrance fee, should they leave the community for any reason.

At Vi at Grayhawk, we offer 0% and 80% return options. Residents choose the option that best fits their long-term financial and estate plans.

Monthly fees

Monthly fees help to pay for a range of services and amenities (residents may incur additional fees for items such as extra meals and supplies). Annual community-wide monthly fee increases also apply, and our sales team can share historical data on these increases upon request.

Sound financials

Vi has grown strategically since we were founded in 1987. And we’re continually committed to investing in each of our Life Plan Communities — which we not only own, but also operate.

We’ve dedicated $1.7 billion over time to development, renovation, further enhancement, and growth.

Hospitality roots

Vi began as Classic Residence by Hyatt, and we’ve stayed true to our roots, providing luxury-level senior living experiences reminiscent of all-inclusive resort-style living.

Resident satisfaction drives our definition of success, and our staff is key to that satisfaction. Ongoing education and training help them excel and provide the service we’re known for.
