Welcome Center wins award
Vi at Bentley Village Earns Coveted Accolades from Collier Building Industry Association

Vi at Bentley Village is pleased to announce that its state-of-the-art Welcome Center has received a prestigious Sand Dollar Award from the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA). The honor for Best Sales Center was recently presented to DeAngelis Diamond Construction, the contractor which completed the approximately 4,500 square foot building.

Emphasizing technology, the Welcome Center was designed to enhance prospective residents’ understanding of their living choices at the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Naples. Vi at Bentley Village worked with TPN, a retail marketing agency, to design the center’s technology tactics, and make space and flow recommendations.

TPN Managing Director, Jon Schultz says, “The centerpiece of the Welcome Center is a pair of 55-inch touch-screen table displays that visitors can digitally interact with to learn all about Vi at Bentley Village and the $80 million renovation currently underway.”

The Welcome Center also features a design center that showcases the high quality of options available to customize apartments, a theatre with seating for eight people, and a putting green with sand trap.

Vi at Bentley Village’s Executive Director, Ann Walsh, says “We are thrilled that our Welcome Center has been chosen for this award. The new technologies which are an integral part of the center give us an advantage over our competitors, allowing our sales team to illustrate what existing Bentley Village has to offer now, and showcase the improvements that are coming to our campus in the future.”

Deangelis Diamond Construction collaborated with Stofft & Cooney Architects, LLC to complete construction of the Welcome Center in September of 2014. Presented annually, The Sand Dollar Awards acknowledge companies which demonstrate excellence in the Collier County building industry. The awards are the premier honors bestowed by the CBIA.

Vi at Bentley Village offers independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory support residences. The community has launched an $80 million redevelopment project which includes the new Welcome Center, 72 new independent living apartments and two new clubhouses, featuring three new restaurants and a quick serve café, a new theater, auditorium, library, lounge, and arts and craft room. Both the clubhouses and 72 new apartments are scheduled for completion in late 2016.

Vi at Bentley Village is currently celebrating its 30th year as the premier continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Naples. Positioned on a 156-acre campus, the community features an 18-hole executive golf course (which will be redesigned as part of the redevelopment), 12 miles of walking trails, and an array of outdoor amenities.
