TidePointe, a Vi Community, celebrates milestone 25th anniversary
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C., (November 30, 2021) – One of South Carolina’s leading senior living communities, TidePointe, A Vi Community, celebrated 25 years of operation on October 22, 2021, with a silver jubilee-themed party for about 300 of its residents. Hilton Head Island’s home for resort-caliber retirement living honored its close-knit community and gave special recognition to several residents and staff members who have been with TidePointe since its opening in 1996.
“Since we welcomed our first residents in 1996, TidePointe has made it a priority to create an extraordinary place to live,” said Thomas Jones, executive director at TidePointe. “This milestone is a testament to the strong connections that our residents and staff members have forged with one another. We are delighted to celebrate as a community.”
The celebration at TidePointe’s clubhouse featured a tapas presentation and entertainment by local jazz band, The John Brackett Trio. In a special toast, Jones recognized two residents -- one of whom is 101 years old -- and four staff members for their 25 years with the community. Two of TidePointe’s longstanding staff members reflected on their 25 years of service and the development opportunities they participated in.
Joining the Silver Jubilee celebrations from Vi’s corporate office were Vi President Randy Richardson, Senior Vice President of Operations Cary Maslow and Vice President of Operations Darrell Baltimore.
